The Theater is determined to get our players connected to the world they are fighting in. When you load into a match in The Theater, you are not playing in a passive friendly exercise, you are an active member in this worlds developing history. Each battle you take part in falls into the games lore, you are determining the outcome of an invaded America by how you play. Each soldier has a story, each town had a life, and each side has its bones. Lets take a peak at it all.

the world is a vampire

This is an alternate way of things. History didn't start really shifting until the onset of World War 2. While in our universe democracy prevailed and the stage was set for the Cold War, the same cannot be said for The Theater's world.

The Axis Powers won, the bomb was never developed, and the US remained neutral. In this short list we have just changed the entire course of history. While we are not at liberty to explain the causes of such shifts, we can elaborate on the effects. The world is on fire. Some call it the Forever War, others maybe the Czar Campaign, or the Infa Conquest. Whatever you called the rising sun and setting moon, it all means the same. This war, like the sun and moon, was ever present. The economies and societies of our world revolved around the machine of war. Nations and peoples were forged around this new age of persecution. The landscapes and civilizations are shaped around trenches and war pollution. It is a dystopian world, where two sides only truly separated by name would stab and maim each other for the fun of it.

Meet our two sides

The infa

The International Fascists have their origins in Nazi Germany. With their influence spread throughout Europe and Africa, they have continued their campaign of hate and violence. They have turned their connected nations into feudalistic societies, focused on both furthering the line of conquest and the Aryan rule. Every people, race, and conquered nation is forced to send their best and youngest into the Infa war machine which is focused against the Czar League.

the czars

The Czar League originated from the Stalinist Soviet Union. Having dominated most of Asia and the Pacific, Stalin would shock the world by declaring himself and established heirs as the new line of Czars. Stalin would establish the new order of the Czar League, serve the people and Czar through the war effort. All functions of society would revolve around the war effort. Full focus was made in honoring lord Stalin and pushing the line further into Infa territory.

It it is now the year 2015. For the past fifteen years the war has seen a new playground once thought unimpregnable...

The Americas

Between the years of 1950 and 2000, both North and South America have retained their isolationism. Harassed and besieged by both the Infa and the Czars, the New World is in a consistent state of turmoil. Despite the New World's best attempts of survival through the Monroe Federation, corruption and social despair saw its inevitable collapse with the rise of a new Consul over all Americas, Maria David.

To not give too much away, lets summarize by saying the floodgates were open. In the year 2000, the Infa focused its efforts to the north, while the Czars would hit in the south. By 2012, The Infa had taken Canada while the Czars controlled Mexico. From here, the last unconquered land was ripe for the oppressive weight of war. Things were gonna get bloody, as the two sides of total tyranny sandwiched inwards, Maria and the ragtag militia fighters struggled to keep some hold.

your story

The year is 2015. For three years the Infa and Czars have slowly creeped across the US homefront leaving nothing but fire and ash in their wake. You are another pawn for their destruction. You may come from any background, any walk of life, that in the end does not matter. You are nothing more then another face soon to be ground to mush in the ongoing push for oppression. You may fight under the trident, or perhaps under the arm and sword. Your opinions of your current predicament have about as much weight as the tattered white flags desperate civilians hang out their windows. All you care about now is your survival, and that is by following orders and praying to God they aren't a deathwish.
